Hello Blogger friends!  Kylie is here today with another Krafting with Kylie video.  She saw this on Disney Channel's "Special Agent Oso", and wanted to share it with you all!
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)

Kylie welcomes comments :)  She told me the other day she is happy to get me more viewers by making her videos...hehehe.

A couple of Simple layouts...

I have a couple of layouts to share.  Since most of my stuff is packed away, I decided to show you a couple of my layouts...hope you like them.

I really like this one of my hubby when we went out for his big "40" a few years back.

I also really like the second one with my daughter and her Welo at a wedding. Kylie asked him to dance...so cute!

Just a little Tidbit to share...

I haven't been around for a while, and just wanted to let you know why, in case you wondered if I just quit my blog, or what was going on!  We are actually in the process of selling our condo which is about 1 1/2 hours away from my parents, and our other family.  We want to buy a home right down the street from my parents, it's going to be wonderful!  My children really want to live closer to their "Welo" and "Wela" (grandma and grandpa-my parents), and Grandma Rose and Grandpa Walter (Tom's parents).  I hope it's as wonderful as I hope it will be!
Well, that is what has been going on with me.  I have been packing up and everything else that goes with it, paperwork for the new purchase and selling the old place, fixing up the old place, etc.  In the midst of all that, I decided to put Kylie in the school near where my parents, and our new house will be.  I didn't want to switch schools on her after a few months.  She is just starting Kindergarten, and I want to be sure my baby isn't upset by the move.  Having said that, we are staying with my mom and dad during the week, and traveling back to the condo on Friday nights and doing what we need to do there.  I sadly had to pack up most of my crafting area and my "stuff".  I am very sad I don't have everything still out and able to play.  My time will come though, right????
Well, enough about that...

I wanted to show you guys something I had done a while back with some extra pictures I didn't need, but had printed out anyway.  I have done this with the below page of my brother's girlfriend Teresa, and myself.  We were out for New Year's one year, I took too many photos of our surroundings, and decided to use them for my title.  I just cut out the letters from the pics I wasn't going to use.  I also did this with some extra pictures of water when we went on a cruise and used them the on a cruise layout.
Hope this helps if you have extra pics you don't know what to do with and don't want to just throw them away.

Another KRAFTING with KYLIE Episode!

My talented little girl made another card for her "bloggy friends".  She had made this on Father's Day, but daddy took a little time uploading her video.  We've been a little busy.  Anyway, she got a lot of good crafty things for her birthday, and she told me we just have to have another video for her to do.  That will be coming sooner than this last one, I hope.  Well, enjoy, and as always, Kylie and I appreciate you watching!!!!!  I feel bad rushing her all the time, but I don't want the videos to be too long.  I need to chill out, and if you guys have time to watch, you will-right??

How I keep track of my embossing folders...

Here is just a video on how I keep track of which embossing folders I have.   It's nice to know what I have without going through every one each time I want to buy more, or want something to use on a card or layout.  Hope this idea helps someone.

Kylie's Birthday is today!!!!!!

I can't believe that my baby girl is 5 today!!!!!!  The time just flew by.  We waited so long for her, but she was definitely worth the wait.  She is a beautiful, intelligent, crafty, witty little girl, and I couldn't be prouder.  She makes us smile with her wonderful personality.  Don't get me wrong...there are many "MOMENTS",  but I couldn't have chosen a more special daughter.  We love you Kylie!!!!!!!

Father's Day Card

Here is another Father's Day Card, this time for my dad and my FIL.  My dad's is the circle card and Tom's dad is getting the A2 size card.   I used the same paper for both cards.  For the bases, I used turquoise SU Textured 12 x 12 cardstock and regular white and a glittery patterned paper.  The sentiment was cut from the Wild Card cartridge at 11.06 on my Gypsy.  I also used the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder for the sentiment and a white Signo uniball gel pen for the doodle dots around both cards.

Hope you enjoy the video!

Come back and see me soon!!!!

Card for Elizabeth.

This card I made is for a little 8 year old girl named Elizabeth who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  I saw this plea on Raquel's website to send her and her family a card.  If you visit her website at raquelsdesigns.blogspot.com, you can get other details and the address to send Elizabeth a card.

This is what I came up with...

Come visit me again soon!  Guess what!!!!!  My Editor (hubby) forgot to flip my video so it wouldn't be upside down, and the completed pic at the end is sideways!  I told him, and he laughed.  You still get the idea.  Sorry about that!!!!!!!!

Have a great rest on the weekend everyone :)

Daisy Card

Here is a card I made using some Daisy embellishments I have had in my stash.  I thought it came out cute :)
A2 sized card.   I used a sentiment from Scrappy Moms, and glossy accents in the middle of the flowers.  I also used the EK success border punch and stitched along the edges with my White Signo Uniball pen.  Paper is from my stash, mostly SU, except for the green paper.

Tyler's Birthday today!!!

Hello everybody!!!  Today was my baby's birthday!  Tyler turned 3 years old today,  I can't believe time is passing so fast.  Only 3 short years ago, Tyler arrived and made our little family complete.  He is so sweet, and makes me smile everyday!  He also drives me nuts sometimes, but I wouldn't trade him for the world.  We didn't do anything super exciting today, we had a small party and one of our friends joined us this evening for cake and we sang to Tyler.  He had fun at his party, and enjoyed the phone calls he received during the day from family calling to wish him a happy birthday.  He was so cute! Every time he would respond excitedly...me birddaaaayyyy??!!  Here are a couple photos of my sweetie pie from today.
Love you Tyler!!!!!!!

Scary Anniversary card...

This card was made for the Flaunt It Fridays Blog Hop Challenge.  The challenge is to use the Happy Hauntings Cricut cart for the Friday the 13th wording.  I cut this at 2 1/2" and the potion bottle at 2".  I stickled the skull bones and stamped Anniversary from The Paper Studios stamp set, and I just positioned it on the clear mount and stamped in versafine black ink and dotted with the uniball signo white gel pen.  I also used doodle dots on the Friday the 13th part.  I took an A2 sized white card and added a layer of houndstooth paper from the DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids matstack.  I inked around the card itself and the layer with red ink, after I used my MS Drippy Goo border punch on the bottom.  I also used glossy accents on the drips.  Not your traditional anniversary card!  My hubby and I celebrated our 15 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY on Friday, May 13th!!!!!!!!

Come back and see me!
Gina

Father's Day Card

Well, hello out there!  I was so happy with my latest card.  It's a You Rock, Dad-Father's Day card.  I didn't use the cricut, just patterned paper and an EK Success punch.  I hope you like it!

I don't have a pic of the card handy, but there is a snapshot at the end of the video.

I used PTI Kraft cardstock-A2 size, and patterned paper is from the DCWV ROCKSTAR matstack, layers are 1/4" difference.
Journal box is from EK Success, and I embossed You Rock Dad from the Scappy Moms set For the Boys using brown embossing powder.  I added a couple brads as well.

"KRAFTING WITH KYLIE"

Good morning everyone!  I am so glad to back to crafting, we have been out of town for the past week, but I'm back now!   I had told you that Kylie (age 4) was going to have her own segment on my blog called, "Krafting with Kylie", where she would come up with ideas and crafts to share with you.  Her first video is for a birthday card for one of her preschool friends.  She loves making cards and crafts, I just have to let her do more on her own...

We were rushing out the door, so I forgot to take a picture of the card.  Here is the rather lengthy video, but if you have time, I'm sure she would love for you to watch it!

We used the Create a Critter Cartridge, the cupcake image
PTI Spring Rain and Hibiscus Burst cardstock, SU Tempting Turquoise all for the cupcake
Base of A2 sized card is PTI White cardstock, layer is from My Mind's Eye, Party Time stack
Ribbon is Hibiscus Burst from PTI and so is the ink
Stamp is from Scrappy Moms

Thanks for watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Kylie would love to hear comments from you :)

See ya soon!

Royal Tea Bridal Shower Blog Hop

Welcome, one and all, to the ROYAL TEA BRIDAL SHOWER BLOG HOP, where we shall celebrate the upcoming marriage of Prince William to the beautiful Kate!  If you have arrived here from Elaine, then you are on the right track!  If you just stopped by my blog for a visit, please start this fabulous blog hop at the beginning at Ellen's blog at cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com.  You don't want to miss any of the talented people and projects you will see on this hop, or the fabulous blog candy you will have a chance to win.  For this blog hop, I chose to make a Trifold Shutter card with a TEA party theme for the bridal shower.   I hope you like it!

If you would like to see a video on this, just leave it on your comment, and I will get one posted soon.  I used the La Creme patterned paper, as well as a vanilla color for the base, and gold for the teapot.  I used a shimmery blue for the tea cups and sentiment, and ran the tea pot and tea cups through cuttlebug folders.  Other tea cups are vanilla color, also run through the cuttlebug.  I tried to use classy pearls for royalty, but I love my bling way too much, so I used more of the Royal Blue rhinestones!

I also have some blog candy to offer for this ROYAL event.

In order to win this candy, please become a follower, and leave a comment on this post that includes a way to contact you if you win!  (I'm sorry, but I can only ship within the United States at this time).   I will choose a winner using random.org on Saturday morning.

Happy Birthday card for 2 challenges!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Tuesday Throwdown # 45 at tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com,  polka dots is the theme.
Birthdaysundaes.blogspot.com, must have birthday wording.
I made this birthday card yesterday.  I made a video, but I accidentally deleted it.  Here is what I made, I think it came out cute.  I didn't use the cricut at all on this one.
Recipe:  PTI Kraft cardstock for base.  8 1/2 x 11 sheet folded in half.  Each layer is 1/4 smaller.
PTI Spring Rain cardstock embossed with the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder.  Bottom half of card I used SU Pumpin Pie cardstock, and I used the Apron Lace Fiskars border punch.  I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder (and my versamark), and used red PTI buttons, one with hemp and adhered with glue dots, and a Hobby Lobby green ribbon.
The main design is an embellished sticker I got from Hobby Lobby, dimensionalized.   I also used light brown ink along the edges and stitched around the card with a Signo Uniball white pen.

I hope you like it :)

Altered Recipe box from Michael's

I altered a $1 recipe box from Michael's, and this is what I came up with.  It's not too elaborate, because I am using it to store my Cuttlebug folders, and my daughter and I will be going in and out of it a lot!  I have a couple more I plan to embellish a little more, so I will be sure to post those pics as well.   I used double sided designer paper and adhered it to the box with ATG adhesive.  I used a ruler and measured each section I wanted to cover, then used a nail file to smooth the edges.  I embellished with some blue ribbon-adhered with ATG as well, and used some butterfly dimensional butterflies from K & Company.

That's all for now!

Have a great night!

Gina & Tisha's Bunny Hop!

My 2 little cutie pies wanted to be in the Bunny Hop, so here they are!  Tyler (2), and Kylie (4).

NOW, ONTO THE HOPPIN'!

Well, Hello!  I'm glad to have you here at my blog for Gina & Tisha's Bunny Hop!  YOU HAVE REACHED THE END OF THE BUNNY HOPPIN' TRAIL!  You should have arrived from the lovely and talented Jaqueline from madebyjacqueline.blogspot.com.  If you just happened by my blog, or just came to visit, you can start this awesome bunny hop at the beginning at Tishascraftcove.blogspot.com.  You don't wanna miss any of the craftiness, and yumminess of all of our talented blog hop participants!

Now, onto my project.  The only stipulation for this blog hop was to have an Easter themed project of any kind.  I chose a scalloped circle Easel Card.  I hope you like it!

I made this Easel card by welding 2 scallop circles from the Mini Monograms cart, cut at 5.5" real dial size.  I used SU Orchid Opulence.  I printed out an extra scallop circle to be the front of the easel card.  I also cut out the circles-one using the SU Whisper White and the pattern paper for the smaller one (both fit to size on the gypsy).  The rabbit is from Create A Critter, layers cut with Paper Trey Ink Choc Brown, Hibiscus Burst, and White at 3".  Font cut from Birthday Cakes font and Doodlecharms for the egg, then welded them together.  I used PTI White and Hibiscus Burst.  I Popped up sentiment to serve as the stopper for the easel.  Glossy Accents for the  nose, cheeks and ears.  You can't see too well, but I flocked the bunny rabbit-it's so soft!!!!!  I made doodle dots with my Signo Uniball White pen and added Michael's 1/2 pearls in purple.  I used an Action Wobble for the bunny, and added google eyes with lashes.  Super cute, huh?

I have a list of all the BUNNY HOP STOPS in case you got lost along the way...be sure you have visited all of the blog stops, became followers and commented to have a chance to win a stamp set donated by Robyn at My Pink Stamper.  Isn't she the best?!
