Another Submission Card for 4 Challenges!

I guess I have been busy today! A lot of Blog time, I love it!
Recipe for card:
I made this Spring card using Walk in My Garden Cricut cart.
All the paper is from my scraps pile-hurray for me!
Kraft cardstock for the A2 base, yellow and green for the layer.
I used the EK Success border punch for the scallop edge, and the
Cuttlebug folder-Stylized Flowers for the embossing
Wheelbarrow cut at 2 1/2" from the Walk in my Garden cart, brown for base and pattern paper for the layer
White signo gel pen for all the stitching, felt flowers with bling are from the Michael's $1 section (leaves I cut out), as is the felt butterfly.
Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Designer's Choice stamp set

KYLIE'S FIRST VIDEO...

Well... Hello everybody!! I am feeling much better now! Unfortunately, the star of this video, Kylie (my 4 year old) has had a fever the last 2 days. Makes me so sad when my babies are sick :(

Kylie and I worked on this video Tuesday, and she did a fantastic job. She told me that she didn't want to do the video on her own, but she would be my helper, so we did one together. She knows quite a bit about what to do, and she is very talkative, so she might be giving me a run for my money soon! lol! We worked on a card for her to give to her BFF Eleena, which is turning 5 next Wednesday. I hope you enjoy our video! It is long-20 mins, but my hubby couldn't bear to cut out any parts his little angel was in! lol! Thanks editor Tom!!

I submitted this card for the Peachy Keen Stamps-Sketch Challenge #46, and the Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge-Create a Critter.



Recipe:  PaperTrey Ink Kraft Cardstock for base.  Standard A2 card- 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

2 panels have SU Melon cardstock (?) not sure.  Pattern paper is from DCWV 8 x 8 stack

Special Delivery sentiment is from a Scrappy Moms stamp set-Designer's Choice-rectangle is 1x3, layer 1/4 smaller

Square on card is with base of SU Creamy Caramel 3x3 and 1/4 inch smaller for each layer  

Mini white button brads, white uniball signo gel pen for stitching (alot of it!!!), 2 small flower embellishments

Bear from Create-a-Critter cut at 2 1/2.  Used my gypsy to hide the facial features of bear, and used Peachy Keen

I've missed crafting!!

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update.  I haven't been posting lately because I haven't been feeling well since last Wednesday.  I have a sinus infection, lost my voice, and I am just now getting it back.  I finally got up the energy to work on a video this evening (yay me!), but I wasn't able to find the adapter to get the video onto the computer.  I looked everywhere!!!  Very frustrating :(.   Hopefully I can go to Best Buy tomorrow when my hubby gets home from work and get another one, then I can post it tomorrow night.   Well, until tomorrow then!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!

I worked on a video last night showing how I made this card.  I thought of the sentiment, and hope it fits with the card, and it's not too corny! heehee..  My daughter was in the room with me.  She loves to work on cards while I am making cards.  She kinda distracts me a little, but I should be happy she wants to hang out.  Soon enough, I'm sure, she won't want to :0(.  Anyway, here the card is with the recipe, and the video.  Hope you enjoy, and I hope you all have a great day with your loved ones!!!!!!

Recipe:  SU Basic Black cardstock, scraps of red for 1st layer, and heart layer

Hearts image cut from Wedding Solutions at 2 3/4

Black polka dot paper and black and white stripes paper from a slice 8x8 paper pad

Pearl from Michael's dollar bin, white signo uniball pen for writing and stitching (not included on video)

Embossed with American Crafts red embossing powder, versamark, and heat tool

Border punch on the black/white stripe layer is from EK Success.

Paisley Frog Card for Kylie (my 4 yr old)

Hello everyone!  I have made a card and a video using the cute huggy frog on the Paisley Cartridge.  I made this card for my daughter Kylie.  She is always making me cards and crafts, and she asked me the other day why I never made her a card, like I do for my blog.  I told her, you know, you're right!  So last night I decided to make her a card using green, which is her favorite color, and I added an Action Wobble (which she loved!).  I hope you enjoy this video and card. 

RECIPE:   Base-SU Basic Black cardstock-  4 1/4 x 5 1/2
layers:  green layer- 4 x 5 1/4, orange pattern- 3 3/4 x 5  both came from my scraps pile
Frog:  Paisley Cartridge cut at 3" page 35, google eyes
Stamp:  Stampendous Love stamp set
Ribbon:  Michael's
Stickles:  Ranger Diamond Stickles
Motion:  Action Wobble

Happy Birthday Cards and a video!

Hello everyone :-)   I am back with a couple cards and a video!  I haven't posted in a while since we celebrated my husband's 43rd birthday this weekend...Happy Birthday hubby!!!!!  I'm so excited to be back to crafting and making cards and videos.  I hope you like them. 

This is one of the cards on the video, with the other card, I used a different color (Perfect Plum).

Recipe:  SU Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

SU Whisper White cardstock 4 x 5 1/4

SU Taken With Teal cardstock 3 3/4 x 5

I used the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder on the Taken With Teal layer, and the other card is the same folder with SU Perfect Plum layer (both cards are identical except for the top color

I rubbed white pigment ink on the top of the embossed images

I used Papertrey Ink Black grossgrain ribbon
