Loading my Pink ATG Gun...

My Aunt Jane got a Pink ATG recently, but hasn't used it yet.  I know...how could she resist???!!!!  Well, I figured I would give her a lesson on how to refill her gun.  Maybe she'll become a little more comfortable to start using it.  If you already know how, you can skip this one.

Scary Anniversary card...

This card was made for the Flaunt It Fridays Blog Hop Challenge.  The challenge is to use the Happy Hauntings Cricut cart for the Friday the 13th wording.  I cut this at 2 1/2" and the potion bottle at 2".  I stickled the skull bones and stamped Anniversary from The Paper Studios stamp set, and I just positioned it on the clear mount and stamped in versafine black ink and dotted with the uniball signo white gel pen.  I also used doodle dots on the Friday the 13th part.  I took an A2 sized white card and added a layer of houndstooth paper from the DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids matstack.  I inked around the card itself and the layer with red ink, after I used my MS Drippy Goo border punch on the bottom.  I also used glossy accents on the drips.  Not your traditional anniversary card!  My hubby and I celebrated our 15 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY on Friday, May 13th!!!!!!!!

Come back and see me!

Teacher Appreciation Card... and CHALLENGE ENTRY

I made this card for Kylie's Preschool teacher, using the Hello Kitty Cartridge, cut at 3 1/2 inches, and all the layers.  I used PTI Kraft Cardstock for the A2 base and The Paper Studio "School" paper pack for the yellow glitter stars background.  I embossed a TPC Studios Thank You stamp with white embossing powder.  I also stitched around the card with a Signo Uniball White pen.

Father's Day Card

Well, hello out there!  I was so happy with my latest card.  It's a You Rock, Dad-Father's Day card.  I didn't use the cricut, just patterned paper and an EK Success punch.  I hope you like it!

I don't have a pic of the card handy, but there is a snapshot at the end of the video.

I used PTI Kraft cardstock-A2 size, and patterned paper is from the DCWV ROCKSTAR matstack, layers are 1/4" difference.
Journal box is from EK Success, and I embossed You Rock Dad from the Scappy Moms set For the Boys using brown embossing powder.  I added a couple brads as well.

"KRAFTING WITH KYLIE"

Good morning everyone!  I am so glad to back to crafting, we have been out of town for the past week, but I'm back now!   I had told you that Kylie (age 4) was going to have her own segment on my blog called, "Krafting with Kylie", where she would come up with ideas and crafts to share with you.  Her first video is for a birthday card for one of her preschool friends.  She loves making cards and crafts, I just have to let her do more on her own...

We were rushing out the door, so I forgot to take a picture of the card.  Here is the rather lengthy video, but if you have time, I'm sure she would love for you to watch it!

We used the Create a Critter Cartridge, the cupcake image
PTI Spring Rain and Hibiscus Burst cardstock, SU Tempting Turquoise all for the cupcake
Base of A2 sized card is PTI White cardstock, layer is from My Mind's Eye, Party Time stack
Ribbon is Hibiscus Burst from PTI and so is the ink
Stamp is from Scrappy Moms

Thanks for watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Kylie would love to hear comments from you :)

See ya soon!
