While on vacation...

Tom and Kylie made a little video for you.  Not what you are expecting, but here it is!! 

Well, before you see it, a little background first.  We arrived in Orlando on March 18th and went to the Bluegrass Festival at Fort Christmas where they had a Craft Fair.  Do you know who was there?  Janice from http://cricutology.blogspot.com/.  She had a booth there with a friend, and I met her!!!  If you haven't been to Janice's blog, it's awesome, and her youtube videos are fun and informative.  She is such a sweet person, I'm so glad to have met her and her adorable son in person!  I hope we become great friends!!!!   I bought one of Janice's cards, that Kylie chose (great choice Kylie!), and a gift for Kylie's BFF Eleena that Janice's friend made.  It's a beautiful purse made out of material...super cute!  Here are pictures of our beautiful finds...

Next, Janice from http://cricutology.blogspot.com/ is doing some wonderful videos using the Dinosaur Tracks Cartridge, my hubby Tom was watching with me, and this is what he was inspired to create-if you know Tom, you know this is totally him!  Kylie helped too, it was a stormy Monday here in Orlando, and they found something fun to pass the time with.  My crafty family!  Tom used the video software on the computer, and the headphones for sound (I don't have a built in microphone on my laptop).  Did I mention they were playing with playdough?

Just a little entertainment compliments of Kylie and Tom...this is supposed to be a meteor hitting the tree, and the dinosaur eating an Orange (since we're in Florida!).

Bunny Hop!!!!

Hello everyone! I am on vacation, but just snuck away for the first time to check email and such! I miss having the internet-it's $40/week here, and I don't want to spend that on internet. I have to come to the clubhouse to get free wi-fi, and I snuck out for just a little bit!

New Segment on my blog!

I wanted to make an announcement...Kylie (my 4 year old) agreed to have a segment on my blog called "Crafting with Kylie"! She will be doing cards and other projects maybe once every couple weeks. We made her first video a couple days ago, but her daddy hasn't had time to upload and edit it yet, he has been getting things ready for our vacation. As soon as we get back on April 5th, I'll make sure he gets that on the web for us. Kylie is very excited-she thinks my crafty friends are so nice and she wants to be a web star like you guys! lol!

I will be in Florida , and even though I will be on vacation and having fun with my family, I will really miss you guys, and crafting!!!!!!! I can't believe I'm gonna have to go a few weeks without making a card :(((((
I know I might sound silly to many of you, but since starting my blog in January, I have been loving making cards and sharing with you...I'm taking my laptop, and hopefully I can still keep in contact and see what you all create (I'm sure everyone has wi-fi these days!).

Well, that's all for now!!! We are leaving on Friday very very early and driving to Orlando, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to do something tomorrow (fingers and toes crossed!)

I made a butterfly card :) I hope you guys like it!! I was working with my 2 year old Tyler in the room with me, Kylie was at Preschool for a couple hours while I worked on this video. I find if I don't just "do it" no matter who is around-I won't get anything done, and then I will just regret it-so you will probably be hearing my children in the videos more often than not. I think it's cute, hopefully you will too!

Scrapbooked a little this weekend!

Yay me! I finally got a little bit of scrapbooking done at Archiver's on Saturday with my Cousin Tisha from http://tishascraftcove.blogspot.com/. We didn't have a ton of time to play, but we did do a bit of shopping, had a great dinner (thanks Tish!), and I watched Tisha try out some Martha Stuart glitter we both purchased at Joann on paper butterflies-super duper cute!!! I had a lot of fun, but wish I could get together with my crafting friends more often (hi Jane and Michelle!).
